Always call an organization first before you dive into doing something. Needs are always changing, resources are changing, part of any project should begin with a needs analysis.

Elderly/Nursing Homes
  • Ornaments (handmade) for nursing home

  • Caroling at a Seniors’ Center

  • Game night

Homeless


It is always best to reach out to a community organization that supports homeless, prior to starting a project. You want a safe, appropriate way to reach your audience.

  • Scarves/blankets for homeless

  • Canned food drives (all year long!)

  • Prep Community Garden – food bank

  • Baby blessing bags

  • Teddy bear drive

  • Coat drive

  • Hygiene drive

  • Blanket & sleeping bag drive

  • Pet food for food banks

  • Birthday party in a bag

Foster Care: The Wishing Well (Foster care children)
  • Check in with The Wishing Well, there is always a need, and it usually isn't for little kids. Socks and underwear are always a need, but teens is her biggest gap in support.

Rainier Therapeutic Riding
  • Again, call and see what their needs are

Community Gardens
  • Enviro House (raised garden beds)

  • Prep Community Garden – food bank

Humane Society
  • Towels & pet supplies drive for Humane Society

  • Pet food

  • Make cat & dog toys
